Joe has more than 25 years of experience marketing healthcare brands in the US. While at GlaxoSmithKline, Joe worked on many over-the-counter (OTC) brands including Nicorette®, NicoDerm CQ®, TUMS® and Abreva®. He was the marketing director on the Rx-to-OTC switch of alli®, the first FDA approved weight loss drug in the US. In addition, Joe led the first shopper marketing team at GSK, partnering with key retailers such as Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Kroger and Costco.
In addition to his consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience, Joe spent several years developing products, self-care services, and go to market strategies for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.He has also acted as a VP of Marketing for Lakeview Health, an acute care treatment center for addiction and recovery.
Joe earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University. He is also a former officer in the US Army Reserves.
